Hello and welcome to Custom Turned. My site has been broken down into two sections. One section is for food related bowls that can be used for anything from salad, pasta, fruit or bread bowls, to what ever you want to put in them. The second section is for wood turned art and this section can range from very large turnings that can hang on your walls to smaller items that can be displayed on a desk or end table.

Please take a look through my site and if you have any questions please feel free to e-mail or give me a call and I will do my best to answer all of your questions. You will notice on some of the art pieces that they are located in certain stores or art galleries. If you have interest in one of those pieces and are unable to get to that location simply let me know and I will collect that item for you and send it out to you in the mail.

My name is Jonathan Harvey and I have been turning professionally since 2007 and previous to that was simply turning as a hobby. I am nestled out in the country on a small acreage between Mount forest and Durham. My small shop has no set hours but I am usually there working from 8-4 Monday to Friday so feel free to stop in for a visit to see how the process of making a salad bowl is done. It may however be in your best interest to give a call first just in case I am running an errand.

My main goal is to provide a perfect salad bowl that is free of defects and sent to my customers in perfect condition. There are many options when it comes to purchasing salad bowls but not all bowls are created equally. I take great pride in every piece that I create and want my customer to have a piece that will last for generations if taken care of correctly (See care instructions).
